What can I say?
She's such a goober. She cracks me up on a regular basis.
It took her awhile to find her niche though. For most of the first 4 years of her life, Lilly was content to follow in her sister's footsteps. If Janelle loved dolphins, Lilly loved dolphins. If Janelle wanted to learn about the solar system, Lilly wanted to learn about the solar system. If Janelle wanted to watch triathlons on youtube, Lilly wanted to watch triathlons.
But lately? Let me tell you, this girl's found her thing: cooking.
Instead of watching cartoons during her tv time, she chooses to watch cooking shows. She's been soaking up Giada and the Barefoot Contessa lately, (two ladies who are not particularly shy around a stick of butter). She is my regular helper in the kitchen and I often find her pretending to make things like profiteroles or prosciutto paninis.
She has been begging to try this spinach and bacon grilled cheese recipe so we tackled it together this week.
Ta Da! They were scrumptious.
