The girls have been begging to try ice skating for years and we were finally able to check that off the list. I hadn't skated in more than 15 years but was relieved to discover it really is like riding a bike. A slippery. bitterly cold bike. You'll notice Andy is conspicuously absent. He and his faulty knees stayed safely off the ice and he happily wielded the camera instead.
