Don't get me wrong, I do love The Great Outdoors. I will run, hike, play, swim, kayak and generally carouse with nature as much as the next chick. But at the end of the day, I have a passionate love affair with my bed. And clean sheets. And a hot shower.
Andy's motto? "I work outside all. day. long. Why would I want to vacation there?"
So needless to say, camping was not on our bucket list.
Which is why 6 families descended upon Kettle Creek State Park with enough children to qualify as our own private school. We ran, hiked, played, kayaked and generally caroused with nature all weekend long.
Shockingly, we are already talking about "next time."
Maybe we are campers.
As long as we can pack our air mattresses.
And the keurig.
