.) Chocolate Gu is absolutely delicious.
.) Paul Tubbs is a crazy man. (How else do you explain the fact that he finished a marathon, had a bite to eat, and then pounded out another 8 miles... just because?)
.)There is a distinct possibility that we might be hooked on this whole race thing.
.) $3.66 is an obscene amount to pay for a Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte. Unless you just finished a half-marathon. Then it is worth every penny.
.) Successfully drinking from a fragile paper cup while on the run needs an intense training schedule all its own.
.) Although I have never been a fan, lip-syncing Elvis impersonators are infinitely more entertaining when you come upon them halfway through a marathon.
.) When you are lapped on mile 12 by a sprinting marathoner who is on mile 23, it is actually pretty darn cool. Go, man, GO!
.) It can not be overemphasized how nice it was to run 13 miles (or 26) without once worrying about getting squashed by a log truck or semi.
.) This post title is rather pretentious but I can never say no to a little alliteration. It's a sickness really.
.) God is faithful to provide exceedingly and abundantly more than you can ask or think. (OK, we might have known that one already but this experience has absolutely sealed it on our hearts.)
