Or chocolate?
Or babies?
For me, it's always been the ocean. Give me the crash of the waves, the smell of the sea, the feel of the sand... even typing it makes me a little giddy. I ♥ the beach.
And we already know how Nelly feels about the ocean.
So when good friends asked us to tag along on their vacation to Kitty Hawk, North Carolina they didn't exactly have to twist our arms to get us to agree. We had our feet buried in the sand before we even unpacked the cars.
We spent a week lounging and frolicking and everything in between.
We hit the beach, did some exploring, enjoyed a dolphin boat tour and the aquarium and took roughly 872 pictures so expect some "Snapshot Sunday" Beach Installments in the future.
It was a completely unexpected blessing and it was absolutely perfect.
