This is our third yard sale fundraiser now. They are admittedly my least favorite fundraiser, but we have picked up some survival tips over the years.
1.) A mascot is a must. Hello again, Fergus.
2.) Your house will inevitably transform into an episode of Hoarders. Just accept it.
3.) Chocolate chip cookies and lemon brownies? Yes, please.
Bring on the sugar.
4.) Enlist the help of a dependable crew.
We were once again at the mercy of Pennsylvania weather which never seems to be a fan of our yard sales, but we huddled together for warmth, the entire town (or so it seemed) showed up to buy the girls' baked goods and at the end of the day we were an astonishing $1,543.25 closer to our goal.
