Ingrid Visser

This evening we had the privilege of meeting renowned marine biologist, Ingrid Visser. In person! Although a little shorter than I expected, she was sweet and personable and passionate about orcas. It was a real treat.

In her own words: "I am Ingrid Visser. I was born February 20, 1966 in New Zealand. I am a marine biologist who is known as the woman who swims with killer whales. I started the Orca Research Trust to protect wild orca and their habitat. I love orca!"

And if that wasn't amazing enough, we also met Tim Tebow and Dr. Ben Carson! 

Evidently Woodland Elementary is where celebrities go to hang out on a Wednesday night...
