Lilly is our laid-back, mellow, little sweet pea. She seems to have a "come-what-may" attitude that I think is exactly what our family needed. Aside from some teething issues, she rarely cries unless she is overtired or she's told you she's hungry and you haven't moved quite fast enough(she takes eating VERY seriously) or she is frustrated that she can't fit the entire link-a-doo into her mouth at once (although she continues to try, several times a day). Mostly she seems very content to just chill and let the world speed by.
At 4 1/2 months old, for instance, she had yet to roll over and seemed completely ambivalent to the entire concept. Oblivious to our coaxing, she was happy to roll to her side where she would lounge, sucking on her fists and grinning at the crazy fools laying on their bellies cheering "Come on Lilly! You can do it!" in high-pitched, sing-song voices. Her big blue eyes would gaze at the 3 of us and you could tell she was thinking, Why all the fuss about rolling over? I'm pretty comfy right here. Yesterday, when she finally did roll over for the first time, it was only after a good 5 minutes of laying on her side watching us encourage her. And I'm pretty sure she did it just to shut us up.
