Christmas Recap 2013

This year Andy had to work the Saturday before Thanksgiving and the girls begged to spend the day putting up our Christmas decorations. Truthfully, they didn't have to do much arm twisting. Start Christmas a week early? I am so on board. In this house, Thanksgiving and Christmas tag-team it. Giving thanks for the birth of Jesus - that's just how we roll.

Christmas Recap 2013...

1. Cookies were made. (Thank you, Grandma.) And devoured.

2. We celebrated 5 birthdays. Happy Birthday to Andy, Lilly, Papa, Micah & Henry!

3. We heard the angels sing. Along with the shepherds, wise men, Mary, Joseph, inn keeper, sheep, camels, cows, donkeys... you get the idea.

4. We played in the snow.

5. The girls got their ornaments for the year.
A planet for Nelly and a mixer for Lilly.

And most importantly, we celebrated the King! Happy Birthday to our Savior, the Lord of lords and the King of kings.
