A joyous, festive whirlwind, but a rather pushy one, nonetheless.
This month...
1.) We celebrated 5 birthdays.
Birthday shout-outs to Lilly, Andy, Papa, Henry, and Micah.
2.) We were enchanted by Mrs. Slusarick's 2nd grade class and their theatrical reading of the Polar Express.
3.) We attended the town-famous Kindergarten Christmas Concert, along with every other Grandparent, Mother, Father, Aunt, Uncle, and Third-Cousin-Twice-Removed of the Class of 2027. The place was packed and the Kindergartners were all deliciously adorable.
4.) Our church Christmas program had all the potential for an epic disaster. For real, friends.
So many little people with busy limbs and short attention spans. Oi.
But they pulled it off beautifully!
That's Nelly tucked in there as "Reader #3."
If you look carefully, you can spy Mary, (aka: our own Pickle) at the back of this line of goobers.
5.) We said goodbye to this special lady. We will miss her every day but are so happy she gets to party with Jesus in person now. We love you, GG. We'll see you later.
6.) The girls had their Annual Frosting Buffet Cookie Decorating Party with Grandma where they consumed their combined weight in sugar.
7.) As always, we greeted Christmas Day with cinnamon rolls and sang "Happy Birthday" to Jesus, complete with candle. (Side note: Bake these cinnamon rolls ASAP. You will thank me.)
8.) Lilly's Christmas Ornament for 2014 in celebration of her bike riding:
9.) Nelly's Christmas Ornament for 2014 in celebration of her love of Boston:
10.) And we finished out the month with a Pajama Christmas Party.
Yes, these are our husbands.
Yes, we are very proud.
Adios, December 2014.
You were fantastic, but we need a nap.

Loved this recap for so many reasons!
