Skills of Motherhood I Have Not Yet Mastered...

1. Making a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, one-handed.

2. Waking up chipper at 6:00 AM.

3. Being brave enough to attempt a full grocery trip to Walmart with both girls by myself.

4. Patiently remembering that although Janelle talks like a 4 year old, she is still only 2 1/2 and will not always live up to my behavioral expectations.

5. Nursing while sleeping.

6. Simultaneously giving both girls 100% of my attention. (And not viewing myself as a failure when I cannot do this.)

7. Faithfully resisting the temptation of Janelle's Potty Seat Reward M&M's that are in the bathroom.

8. Never meeting Andy at the door ready to gripe about how horrible my day was.

9. Successfully convincing Janelle to try just one bite of mash potatoes.

10. Consistently relying on Christ's perfect strength instead of my own faltering strength.
